OwnPDF / Delete data
Delete your OwnPDF data
OwnPDF has no accounts and no servers that hold your data. Everything it stores — your files, Private Files, saved signature, reading positions and settings — lives only on your phone, so you can delete it yourself at any time. We hold no copy to delete.
Delete everything in the app
Open OwnPDF → Settings → Delete all my data → Delete everything. This permanently removes every file in OwnPDF, everything in Private Files, your saved signature, reading positions and all settings, immediately. Uninstalling the app does the same.
Delete single files
On the Files tab, tap ⋮ next to a file → Delete from OwnPDF. For Private Files, open Private Files, tap ⋮ → Delete permanently.
What is not deleted
Copies you saved to your phone, pages exported to Pictures › OwnPDF, and files you shared with other apps are outside OwnPDF; delete them in your file manager or gallery. Your Pro purchase stays linked to your Google account and can be restored.
Advertising data held by Google
Adults using the free version see Google AdMob ads. To reset or delete the advertising ID Google uses, open Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can also manage Google data at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.
